January 14-15, 2012: The OC Throwdown. Two day competition that WW is competing in. He qualified for the Elite Division where over 1,100 people tried to qualify for 150 male and 100 female spots. He will be competing against seven CrossFit Games competitors along with many other legit athletes from all over the globe. This event will be more competitive than last year’s Regional. It’s been a tough week, so Saturday’s WOD will be programmed accordingly. Let’s get our last workout for 2011 in, so we can ring in the New Year feeling good.
12 minute AMRAP of:
12 Thrusters, 95/65 pounds
12 Burpee Box Jumps, 24″/20″
12 Knees to Elbows
One partner accumulates as many rounds and reps as possible while the other Bear Crawls 20 meters out and 20 meters back. When the Bear Crawling partner completes both 20 meters, the partners switch. This continues for 12 minutes. The team with the most rounds and reps wins.
