12.27.12 – WOD


Not the most in depth tutorial for learning the kipping handstand push-up. However, I think most people over think this skill anyway. Let’s keep it short and effective. Kick up against the wall in your tripod position, bring your legs down together bending your knees towards your chest until you feel your hips rotate inward, then drive your legs up and press it out. If your hips don’t rotate in then your power is not coming from your hips. If you can’t get the hang of it keep working your overhead strength and keep practicing this progression. Good skill! – WW
