5.15.12 – Schedule

A cool shot a spectator got from last weekend during Event #5, the Snatch Ladder. A classic example of triple extension in Olympic weightlifting. Basically, the shoulders are fully shrugged, hips are open and I’m on my toes. This position is ideal before any arm bend occurs in order to transfer maximal power to the bar. This was only 195#, but I ended up reaching 235# after 200 double unders and nine other Snatches. It was good for 5th place in that event. – WW
