Here is a cool video that has some efficiency tips on pull-ups. This should help you get more reps on 12.5 by allowing you to preserve energy for the barbell thrusters.

One more weekend to endure with the nutrition challenge. It was scheduled to end on Friday, but the final aspect of the challenge is to repeat the “Tabata Something Else” workout, which has a lot of pull-ups. We did pull-ups on Monday, we are doing them again for 12.5 and I want to make sure we compare apples to apples. Therefore, the challenge will be over on Monday once everyone completes the WOD. I know I know, but it’s been almost 60 days. What’s another two days? Finish strong!

February 22-March 28, 2012: 2012 Reebok CrossFit Games season is here! The team is formed. Support your fellow members during the next three weeks, as they lay it all on the line. Currently in 55th place in the SoCal region out of 131 affiliates. Our goal is top 30, so we can have a team competing at Regionals in May. In business for less than 6 months and competing with gyms that have been around for many years. Yeahhhh buddy!

Additional Notes
This workout begins from the standing position with the barbell on the floor and the Athlete standing tall. Using a ball, box or other object to check for proper depth is not allowed. Please be sure to watch the entire workout instruction video for full details. Every rep counts in this workout. You will enter your score as the total number of reps. See the Score Card for assistance in calculating the rep total.
